Cyber training infrastructure for organizations
Hands-on cybersecurity training in real, isolated environments
Onyxium runs your organization's cyber training end to end: a structured curriculum, interactive simulators, a live lab environment for every learner, and automated skills assessment, with full visibility for instructors and leadership.

Why organizations switch
Slideware produces certificates. It does not produce defenders.
Completion rates tell you a video played. When an incident comes, what matters is whether your people can read a packet capture, contain a compromised host, and harden a misconfigured service. Onyxium trains and measures exactly that: every skill is earned by doing the work in a real environment, and every claim in a report traces back to demonstrated, validated actions.
How training works
One loop, five stages, evidence at every step
- 01
Learn
Structured sessions with theory, textbook chapters, slides, and media: a syllabus your cohort moves through together, not an open library nobody starts.
- 02
Practice
Purpose-built browser simulators (packet analysis, IAM, IDS triage, firewall policy, LLM defense) that hold state, validate work, and give instant feedback.
- 03
Challenge
A real Linux or Windows environment per learner, provisioned on demand and torn down after. Flags are generated per attempt and stored as salted hashes. Sharing answers is detectable.
- 04
Assess
Automated grading across labs, challenges, and scenario quizzes. Skills become badges earned by demonstration, mapped to NICE Framework work-role codes.
- 05
Improve
Instructors see a live progress matrix and at-risk signals. Leadership sees verified capability, per-learner cost, and a full audit trail: evidence, not completion rates.

The live demo is the actual Onyxium learner experience: three sessions from our flagship curriculum, running in your browser right now. Configure access controls in a corporate console, analyze packet captures, and take a scenario-based skills check. No signup, no virtual machines, no sales call first.
Start the demoSession 1 · The CIA Triad
Fix permissions, keep a service alive, and catch tampering in the Meridian corporate console.
Session 2 · Packet Analysis
Dissect real captures layer by layer in the Packet Inspector: filters, streams, and a cleartext leak.
Skills Check · Incident Triage
Classify eight security incidents the way a SOC analyst would. Scored, with explanations.
Built for organizations
Training your leadership can actually see
People and cohorts
Groups, enrollment approval, per-school roles for managers, instructors, and content teams. Multi-tenant from day one.
Live instructor view
A roster-by-session progress matrix, live environment monitoring, and at-risk flags before a learner falls behind.
Audit everything
Every content change and admin action is logged with previous values. Reports trace to evidence, not self-attestation.
Cost per learner, visible
Live infrastructure cost accounting per lab session, rolled up by day, week, and month. No surprise bills.

Deployment & security
Serious about the platform's own security
- Single-tenant, self-hostable. Onyxium deploys as a dedicated instance, including inside your own infrastructure boundary for organizations that require it.
- Per-learner isolation. One environment per learner per session, with CPU, memory, and process caps and a hard session lifetime ceiling.
- Flags that can't leak value. Challenge flags are per-attempt, stored as salted hashes, compared in constant time, and every submission is recorded.
- Complete audit trail. Admin and content mutations are logged with actor, timestamp, and previous values.
Straight answers
We publish what exists, not what a slide claims. Formal compliance certifications (SOC 2, ISO 27001) and SAML/SCIM federation are on our roadmap and not yet shipped. If your procurement requires them today, tell us in the demo call and we'll walk you through the current architecture and the self-hosted option instead of talking around it.
Ask us the hard questionsCommon questions
How is Onyxium different from an LMS or video courses?
An LMS tracks whether a video played. Onyxium grades what people actually do: every session pairs theory with an interactive simulator and a live lab environment, and skills are verified by demonstrated work: validated lab checks, solved challenges, and scenario-based assessment.
Do learners share environments?
No. Every learner gets their own isolated environment, provisioned on demand and torn down when the session ends. There is no shared state, so individual performance can be evaluated honestly.
How do you prevent answer sharing?
Challenge flags are generated per attempt and stored only as salted hashes. A flag from one learner's environment does not work in another's, and every submission is recorded, so sharing patterns are detectable by query, not by policy.
Can we run our own content and programs?
Yes. Courses, modules, lessons, labs, and challenges are managed structures with versioned revisions and a full audit trail. Content can be edited in the platform UI or programmatically through Onyxium's content API.
How is Onyxium deployed?
Onyxium runs as a single-tenant deployment that can be self-hosted inside your own boundary. Lab environments run on dedicated, resource-capped infrastructure with a hard lifetime ceiling per session.
